Activating pupils is one of the most important � and sometimes most difficult � challenges any teacher faces. The Goethe-Institut Gulf Region has therefore put together a series of cultural events and competitions designed to help you motivate your pupils and to make learning German more fun.

Internationale Deutscholympiade (IDO)

Die Internationale Deutscholympiade sowie die Qualifikationsrunden in den teilnehmenden L�ndern sind eine ganz besondere Gelegenheit f�r Deutschlernende weltweit, ihr K�nnen unter Beweis zu stellen. Doch bei der IDO geht es um mehr als den Wettbewerbsgedanken: Gegenseitiges Verst�ndnis, Toleranz und Kulturaustausch stehen im Zentrum dieses Sprach-Abenteuers in Freiburg, f�r Sch�lerinnen und Sch�ler zwischen 14 und 17 Jahren.
