Support to EU Film Festivals
Support to EU Film Festivals is a project initiated by the European Union and implemented by Cineuropa.org, Institut fran�ais and Goethe-Institut. The goal is to support the creation and enhance the quality of EU Film Festivals organised by the delegations of the European Union worldwide. After a successful first phase implemented from 2019 to 2022, the European Commission started a new phase in January 2023. The second phase will run for 2 years, with a possibility of an extension of 2 additional years.
The consortium proposes a number of services available to all European
delegations:
Repository of European films selected by a professional jury that delegation can use for free on demand Secure their worldwide non-commercial rights and produce and distribute DCPs and Blu-rays to all the delegations Assistance to the organisation of side events (workshops, master classes, film education, coproduction markets, networking meetings�) Several delegations will receive additional and direct support by hiring curators, researching local sponsorships and partnerships, renting facilities� Online and offline trainings with different modules on film festival management
